Style Review: Kate Middleton in New York - USA Lifestyle News
It’s been a whirlwind three-day visit to New York City for Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Straight from JFK airport, the Duchess stepped out at the Carlyle Hotel wearing a plum tweed coat by UK maternity label Seraphine, which she paired with all black accessories. It was the first time Middleton wore a maternity label during her second pregnancy, but it would not be the last time she would support British designers during her NYC trip. Later that night, Middleton attended a private dinner benefitting the Royal Foundation in a black lace dress with sheer sleeves by Beulah London.
On day two, the royal duo kept busy running from a morning in Harlem to lunch midtown and Brooklyn for a night at the Nets game. Middleton started the day off in a black crepe coat accented with gold hardware by Goat. Later that night, she arrived at the Nets game (and to meet Beyoncé) dressed up for the occasion in a grey tweed Tory Burch jacket, skinny black jeans by J.Crew and pointy toe pumps.

For their final day in the city, the Duke and Duchess went to the National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum. The weather was overcast, but Middleton shined in a double-breasted pink coat by British luxury brand Mulberrry.
The same day, at the Creativity is GREAT reception hosted at NeueHouse, Middleton chatted up notable guests like Harvey Weinstein, Georgina Chapman and Jenna Lyons in a black long-sleeve dress by Seraphine.
Saving the best for last, the Duchess stunned at the last appearance of her New York City visit in a Jenny Packham dress, one she previously wore in October 2013 and February 2014. Hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the pair arrived at the gala celebrating the 600th year of St. Andrew’s school, where both royals themselves went to school. For the black tie affair, also attended by Anna Wintour, Seth Meyers and Mary-Kate Olsen, Middleton paired her gown with dazzling diamond and emerald earrings, deciding to forego a clutch.
